A key strength is Slade’s use of advanced digital systems, including ChartFlow, to support real‑time data visibility, improved efficiency and consistent pharmacy practice across hospital networks. The technology-led approach supports safer medication management, stronger clinical governance and seamless integration with hospital care teams.
Chief Executive Officer – Slade Pharmacy & Compounding (AU/NZ), Russell Hill, said the contract win recognised Slade’s patient-focus and ability to combine clinical excellence with practical, hospital-ready innovation.

Digital tools such as ChartFlow enable our pharmacists to work more effectively at the bedside, improve medication oversight and support consistent, high‑quality care across multiple hospital sites. Alongside this, our investment in a dedicated Quality Medicines Safety Unit continues to drive leading outcomes in medicines safety for patients and clinicians across our network.

Slade Pharmacy is supported by Icon Group*, providing back-office infrastructure to enable the delivery of high-quality, integrated pharmacy services across Australia’s hospital sector.

The transition of services is expected to commence in May 2026.
