Mandatory use of face masks in hospitals

In line with Victorian government requirements regarding face mask wearing in hospital settings, all customers entering our pharmacies must wear a face mask to enter the pharmacy. If for medical reasons you can’t wear a face mask, we will ask you to wait outside the pharmacy and a Slade Pharmacy staff member will collect the items you require.

We appreciate your cooperation with this requirement. Through mask-wearing and other simple hygiene practices such as hand sanitising and social distancing, our goal is to provide further protection against COVID-19 for our customers and staff.

Click here for more information on how to wear face mask safely.

RESTRICTED ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS TO OUR MELBOURNE-BASED PHARMACIES REMAIN IN FORCE.

The number of customers in-store at any one time will be monitored to comply with social distancing requirements.

It is still important that our staff and customers at all sites continue to respect the 1.5 metre self-distancing rules, use hand sanitizer upon entry and continue with contactless payment where possible.

Our increased hygiene and sanitation controls remain in place and we continue to work closely with our hospital partners to implement the necessary protocols to minimise risk of exposure to our customers and staff.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your local  Slade Pharmacy
