Questions about Botulinum toxin

Why have I received an invoice for Botulinum toxin from Slade Pharmacy?

If you received treatment at a clinic or hospital for botulinum toxin, you may be sent an invoice from Slade Pharmacy.

Slade Pharmacy has locations across Australia. We manage the PBS co-payment processing for botulinum toxin from Deakin, ACT. The invoice you receive will likely have an address that is located somewhere different to the clinic or hospital that you visit.

We send text messages and emails to remind our patients about overdue accounts. If you have questions about the email or text message you have received, please contact our Accounts team on 1800 222 687 or email patientaccounts@slade.net.au.

Dispensing botulinum toxin is restricted to hospital pharmacies with an approved Section 94 PBS dispensing licence  (not community pharmacies). Slade Pharmacy is an approved botulinum toxin dispenser and can be nominated by your doctor to process prescriptions.

Patients need to pay a PBS co-payment for this medication. Slade manages the PBS claim subsidy on your behalf, and we are responsible for collecting your associated co-payment.
