Do I need to refrigerate Trimix from Slade Pharmacy?

No, our Trimix formulation does not require refrigeration and should be stored in a cool, dark place below 25°C. If temperatures are extremely high, you may refrigerate it temporarily, but it must be brought to room temperature before use.

Why does Trimix from Slade Pharmacy not require refrigeration when others do?

Unlike other formulations that contain alprostadil (which requires refrigeration), our Trimix formulation only contains atropine, papaverine and phentolamine and is stable at room temperature.

Does refrigeration extend the expiry date of Trimix?

No, refrigeration will not extend the expiry date. Always store Trimix in a cool, dark place below 25°C.

Does Slade Pharmacy compound a Trimix that contains alprostadil?

Yes, we offer Promix, which contains alprostadil, papaverine, and phentolamine. Promix must be refrigerated at 2–8°C and brought to room temperature before use.
