The new look Slade Pharmacy Richmond

Slade Pharmacy Richmond Opening with EpworthSlade Pharmacy has unveiled a new look at its flagship Epworth Richmond site during a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring David and Graham Slade and Epworth Group CEO Alan Kinkade.

Remarkably the eight-week refit was achieved while continuing to provide full services to Epworth Richmond Private Hospital and the community. At the same time Epworth Richmond remodelled its Bridge Rd entrance, creating a new entrance to the pharmacy.

Designed by award-winning Irish designer Keith Anderson, the pharmacy features a doubling in the number of forward dispensing terminals to allow for greater pharmacist interaction with patients.

“I am very pleased with the outcome,” said Slade Managing Director David Slade. “Both the hospital and the general public will enjoy a greater level of service and expertise.”

Customer and patient response has been overwhelmingly positive according Retail Operations Manager Peter Heeraman. “We now have even more in-store for patients,” he said, ”with a new multi-purpose consultation room for one-on-one private discussions with a Pharmacist.

“We have extended our existing ranges in health and beauty and increased our range of recovery and mobility aids. We have also introduced a made-to-measure compression stocking fitting service.”

With Epworth Richmond Hospital continuing to grow the refit has placed the pharmacy in a great position to grow with the hospital.
